Sculpting Smile- Orthodontic Way

Read on or click on the links on your Right.

Orthodontics has evolved due to committed innovators and clinicians, to continue to do so we need to keep up the legacy and adopt new and efficient approached to give best to our patients.

Orthodontics is the oldest speciality of medicine, school of orthodontia was establised in 1900 in St Louis, at that point of time most medical specialities were not in existence. At the start our founders- E H Angle had to use hand crafted brackets and wires. Lot of wire bending had to be mastered to create precise tooth movments. Today the scenario continues to change.

In olden days Great wire benders made great orthodontist
Now Great Bonders make Great orthodontists (thanks to Straightwire concept)

Due to this paradigm shift in concept, mechanical aspect of the orthodontic fixed appliance has become much more simplified and this has attracted lot of young dentists to attempt orthodontic treatment. But it is very important still to understand the fact that "A sound orthodontic Diagnosis and treatment plan" is central to crafting a good smile and just bracket bonding and NiTi/E chain will at best give very poor orthodontic outcome which will neither please the operator nor the patient.
