Healing and Balancing Techniques

To restore balance to the Manipura Chakra and cultivate greater self-confidence and inner strength, consider incorporating the following techniques into your daily routine:

Engage in physical activities that focus on strengthening the core muscles, such as yoga, Pilates, or abdominal exercises. Strengthening the physical core can help activate and balance the energetic core of the Manipura Chakra, enhancing your sense of personal power and vitality.
  2. Breathwork and Pranayama:
Practice deep diaphragmatic breathing exercises and pranayama techniques like Bhastrika and Kapal Bhati to stimulate the Solar Plexus Chakra and invigorate your energy body. Consciously breathing into the abdomen and exhaling fully can help release tension and stagnant energy stored in the Manipura Chakra, promoting a sense of empowerment and confidence.
  3. Aromatherapy:
Use invigorating and energising essential oils such as juniper, black pepper, cardamom, lemon and grapefruit to stimulate the Manipura chakra and enhance clarity, strength and digestion. Diffuse these oils in your space or apply them to your pulse points during meditation.
  4. Mantra and Meditation:
Osho’s dynamic meditation helps to release repressed anger. You may meditate on this chakra by visualising bright, golden light radiating from your Solar Plexus Chakra, illuminating your entire being with warmth and vitality.
  5. Sound Therapy:
Chanting the sound RAM (like the drink rum) while focusing the Manipura Chakra, visualizing a hot, golden-yellow energy swirling in your abdomen. Malkauns, Bhimpalas (Hindustani), Abhogi and Hindolami help to heal addictions and brings about inner transformation. The musical note E or Ga (Gandhara) is associated with this chakra.
  6. Sun Exposure:
Spend time outdoors in the sunlight, allowing the warm rays of the sun to nourish and energize your Solar Plexus Chakra. Sun exposure not only provides physical benefits such as vitamin D production but also symbolically connects you to the fiery energy of the Manipura Chakra, igniting your inner power and vitality.
  7. Yoga:
A Suryanamaskar practicce in the morning activates the Manipura chakra, even more powerfully when done facing East in the Sun. Asanas like the bow pose/ Dhanurasana, revolved triangle pose/ Parvritta Trikonasana, and the cobra pose/ Bhujanganasa help strengthen the Manipura.
