With a small investment in some common remedies you will be well-prepared for most first-aid situations at least as far as homeopathy goes. Check which of the following ones you may need and then scroll a little further to see an easy remedy-finder for the various complaints.
Arnica is, once again the first remedy for injury-related bleeding and can quickly stop or improve most cases of traumatic bleeding. Hamamelis and Millefolium are also indicated after injury. The former more for external wounds or injury to veins, the later for internal injuries or hemorrhage. Ipecac is primarily for bleeding from internal organs. such as the lungs or stomach. While Arnica and Phosphorus are excellent after surgery or dental work, Millefolium is given before surgery, dental work, or childbirth to reduce potential bleeding. Nosebleeds after injury are dealt with by both Hamamelis and Millefolium, while Lachesis and Phosphorus are excellent for spontaneous nosebleeds, or those occurring during headaches, menses, etc. Ipecac. Millefolium and Phosphorus have bright red blood, indicating hemorrhage from small or large arteries. Lachesis and Hamamelis have dark blood (indicating venous bleeding). Cases of severe or prolonged bleeding require immediate medical care, as does bleeding from internal organs, vomiting of blood. urinating blood, etc. But even if one is receiving fluid replacement and treatment for serious bleeding. homeopathy is excellent for overcoming the weakness, faintness, and exhaustion occurring after blood loss and dehydration. For these after-effects, Phosphoric acid and Carbo veg are top choices. Calendula and Hypericum are excellent external treatments, in tincture form diluted in water. for stopping bleeding from a wound. or as a mouthwash. eyewash, or nasal irrigation.
