Paida Lajin is a wonderful pain relief technique and can do wonders to your state of health. Master Hongchi Xiao learned this secret from ancient Chinese masters and popularized it world over.
Paida Lajin is a therapeutic practice that originated from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and has gained popularity in recent years as a form of self-healing and pain relief technique. It involves two primary components: “Paida,” which refers to slapping or patting the body, and “Lajin,” which involves stretching or extending the body.
The practice is based on the principle that many health problems arise from blocked energy channels or meridians in the body, which disrupt the flow of Qi (life force energy) and lead to pain, illness, and other health issues. Paida Lajin aims to remove these blockages and restore the natural flow of Qi, thereby promoting health and well-being.
During the Paida phase, individuals lightly slap or pat specific areas of their body, usually using their hands or a soft object, such as a towel or brush. This action is believed to stimulate circulation, improve blood flow, and release toxins stored in the body’s tissues. Paida is typically performed on areas where pain or discomfort is experienced, as well as on meridian points corresponding to specific organs or systems in the body.
Following the Paida phase, individuals engage in Lajin, which involves stretching or extending the body, particularly the limbs. Lajin exercises are designed to open up the body’s meridians, improve flexibility, and promote the release of tension and stagnation. This stretching helps to further enhance circulation, alleviate muscle tightness, and reduce pain and stiffness in the joints and muscles.
