Course Outline
Didactic lecturesA series of lectures and related seminar/ discussion sessions covering both theoretical and clinical aspects of all dental disciplines.

Clinical experience sessions are scheduled in the following disciplines:
Amalgam, composite resin, gold

2.Candidates are asked to assess patients who have periodontal disease and require preventive, conservative or prosthetic treatment.
Diagnosis and treatment planning and other relevant matters pertaining to treatment for these patients and for other cases.
3.Assess an adult patient prior to anaesthetizing and extracting one ore more teeth and to answer questions on matters relating to this treatment, possible complications and postoperative sequels.
4.In a broader are of oral surgery cases with lesions such as cysts and tumors and manifestations of cystic disease is presented and relevant questions are asked.
5.Procedures include supra and sub-gingival scaling

7.Recording of occlusal relationships.
8.Intra oral radiography.
9.Application of pit and fissure sealants

1. Cavity preparations and restoration with amalgam, resin or gold.

8. Restoration of r.c.t tooth, pin retained etc

10. Assessment of adult patient prior to anesthetizing for extraction (history taking), treatment, possible complications and postoperative squeal.
11. Discussion on cases with cystic diseases, tumours their manifestations questions related to this.
